Job Description: Principle duties and responsibilities include proven experience with the following: Fabrication, measurement and testing of complex machined components and assemblies. These parts will integrate with sophisticated electrical and mechanical systems including but not limited to, high-voltage pulsed power systems – both conventional and explosive-driven, high-voltage and high-power RF systems, and high-vacuum systems. Contributes to product development. Some ability to analyze data but more importantly to work closely with others to understand results of - often - one-shot tests. May be assisted by and required to train lower level technicians. Required Skills: · 6 or more years relevant experience in electrical and mechanical fabrication. · CNC machining skills required. · Demonstrated capability to perform a broad, diverse range of technical tasks and/or very specific technical tasks in the engineering disciplines. · Ability to provide hands on technical support during research and development phases through demonstration tests. · Capable of giving detailed instructions and expressing technical concepts clearly. · Ability to work with large and small teams, depending on circumstances.
