Job Title: Counterintelligence Cyber Security (Insider Threat) Reports To: The Customer and the PM Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance Work Location: Washington, DC Start Date: ASAP Advantage SCI, LLC is currently seeking  Counterintelligence Cyber Security candidates to be considered for immediate employment for a governement agency in Wasington, DC. This individual is responsible for monitoring, auditing, and analyzing the Enterprise information systems for events with Counterintelligence implications including but not limited to: •Identify unauthorized system access, insider threat activity, hacking or penetration attempts from suspected foreign or terrorist origin, and the presence of unauthorized software or malicious code with suspected foreign nexus to include classified and unclassified networks, active directory, firewalls, network infrastructure assets, intrusion detection systems, asset (workstation / server / firewall) log files, and remote access servers. •Monitor the daily operation of the Enterprise and take the necessary actions to proactively address issues and vector support personnel to the appropriate problem area. •Identify and recommend operational changes to preclude failure, or allow support personnel to respond rapidly to problems to minimize the affects to the Enterprise. •Work with Counterintelligence Analysts, Information Assurance (IA), Cyber Security staff and other government agencies to identify and create indicators of CI events, identify vulnerable computers and systems that may be used for computer network exploitation, data exfiltration, and data compromise. •Deliver weekly and monthly summary, and status reports documenting incidences of network/computer events with CI implications. •Insider Threat Vulnerability Mitigation includes assist in developing and reporting events, incidents and other internal anomalous behavior indicative of Insider Threat activity. •Identify vulnerable computers and systems that may be used for computer network exploitation and computer network attack. •Research available Insider Threat detection tools and provide a test plan and CONOPS for testing of potential tools. •Implement, configure, maintain and operate Insider Threat tools. •Risk and Vulnerability Analysis includes  research, identify, and analyze technical threats to information systems, personnel, activities and cyberspace—as well as threat-appropriate countermeasures. •Support and preparation of reports of special interest on CI Technical Threat topics will be on an as needed basis.
