Leidos is searching for an Intelligence Analyst to provide database and user support to the Office of Naval Intelligence in Suitland, MD. The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills to collaborate with government and contractor personnel.
Candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance to be considered for this position.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will provide Intelligence Information Report (IIR) evaluations using Human Intelligence (HUMINT) Online Tasking and Reporting (HOT-R) system or other Department of Defense systems as designated by the government. Provide AMIDSHIP database support for the identification, quality control, and databasing of photography on merchant ships equal to or greater than 500 GRT and those designated as High Interest Vessels. Resolve current and historical characteristics data issues in MSCDB for all merchant vessels, as well as monitor, evaluate, update, and provide feedback on source data. Analyze imagery and input data into AMIDSHIPS and MSCDB. The contractor shall also participate in briefings to Defense Attaches, Assistant Liaison US Naval Attaches and other visitors supporting civil maritime requirements.
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below.
Active TS/SCI clearance
2+ years working experience in the Intelligence Community
2+ years experience performing all source analysis.
Proficiency with MS Office
Ability to conduct open source research; proficient research and analysis skills
Ability to author operational intelligence reports and executive level intelligence assessments
Ability to brief mid- to senior-level government civilian and military officials
Ability to train Navy reservists performing HUMINT Online Tasking and Reporting (HOT-R) work from the same facility; ability to train branch personnel to perform HOT-R task with regards to processing IIRs
Experience with Civil Maritime shipping, ship building, ship characteristics, ship operations, or the maritime industry
