Job Description


Leidos and an opportunity for an AF Knowledge Manager/MS SharePoint Administrator in Norfolk, VA. Candidates must possess a current Top Secret with SCI eligibility in order to be considered.


The candidate will support the development and administration of sites, libraries, and lists for multiple MS SharePoint portals on different security domains. Applicants will create, customize and maintain MS SharePoint portals and associated training and maintenance documentation; develop and continuously improve business practices and processes; create and manage workflows to automate processes; and collaborate with internal / external organization personnel necessary to accomplish network account assignments, equipment issuance, asset management and resolution of trouble calls. Applicants will also apply patches to major subsystems and services, roles, and file system components and perform Operating System and patch testing on all changes prior to installation. Applicants must possess strong organizational, analytical, and customer service skills; problem solving ability; attention to detail; and be proficient in verbal and written communication. Familiarity with software languages and tools such as .NET Technologies, Silverlight, Database Technologies, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, Visual Studio/TFS, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript skills and previous system administrator experience using Microsoft WDX / SQL, and UNIX platforms is also highly desired.


Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related technical discipline and 4-8 years of experience in in MS SharePoint administration is required.  Applicants must already possess or have the ability to obtain DoD 8570 certification requirements (i.e., Security+) within 15 days of hiring.  MCSA and MCSE certifications are also highly preferred. Top Secret with SCI eligibility will be required to perform assigned duties.
