Leidos’s Defense Health Operation (DHI) currently has an opening for a Senior Java Software Developer to support the TRICARE Online Sustainment with the potential to telework. The TRICARE Online system (TOL) provides the 9.4 million DoD beneficiaries with a single, Military Health System wide Internet portal focused on providing patient centric services including core capabilities for online Appointing, Pharmacy (Rx) Refill, and access to medical record. The system is accessible to beneficiaries from their desktop as well as mobile devices.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Responsible for performing the software systems development of the TRICARE Online beneficiary portal, including the design, development, troubleshooting, and debugging of software programs for TOL enhancements as well as the existing TOL system. Duties include software requirements analysis and development of software products and software tools. Recommends and develops new technical solutions, products, and/or standards. Leads and manages works of other technical staff that has significant impact on project results/outputs. Resolves highly complex problems using significant application of technical knowledge, conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation. Develops solutions that are highly innovative, and achieved through research and integration of best practices.
BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience. <?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Ideal candidate has recent in-depth and hands-on experience developing Java Server Faces (JSF) 2.2 applications using PrimeFaces 6.x in a WebLogic 12c environment.
Candidate will be ranked based on their experience in the following areas:
· Java Server Faces 2.2 using PrimeFaces 6.x
· Oracle WebLogic 12c
· Eclipse with Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse (OEPE)
· Build tools such as Ant, Maven, Gradle
· Code quality tools such as SonarQube, PMD, FindBugs, HP Fortify
· SQL Developer
Must have knowledge of agile development methodologies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain ADPII government security clearance, DoD 8570.01M certifications will be required.
