The Leidos Defense & Intelligence Group has an opening in Bagram, Afghanistan within the SS-AISR program as a Technical Service Engineer.
As the Technical Service Engineer your overall responsibilities are to consult, provide oversight and integration support for existing hardware, software, network configurations and new system initiatives for all sites within your area of responsibility.
-Provide technical leadership ensuring adherence to governing regulations and Standard Operating Procedures.
-Responsible for identifying priorities and assign associated tasks involving launch and recovery activities, line maintenance and scheduled maintenance
-Interface with Management on the development, implementation and execution of a PME Technician training program
-Duties may include providing remote and site support services as well as assisting in the development on procedural changes.
-Requires Expert Knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts. For example: troubleshooting: BLOS systems, interpreting wire diagrams, and experience in configuring GUI)
-Must have Final Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
-Must have a current Security + or higher certification
-Valid U.S. passport for at least 3 years.
-Must be able to meet CENTCOM CRC medical minimum standards
-Must be able to meet deployment training minimum standards
-Ability to read, write and speak English
-Prior Experience on MARSS/EMARRS or equivalent ISR Platforms.
-Prior experience on BLOS SATCOM Networks.
-Troubleshooting skills with experience using relevant test equipment.
-DoD 8570 Compliant

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Requires BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
