Job Description


Raytheon is supporting a proprietary customer contract for delivering technical support to customer management and providing resources for the technical services required to enable customer mission accomplishment. In support of the customer's strategic direction, Raytheon is looking for individuals who can support the protection of the customer environment. Experts in system administration are needed to support the customer team. The ideal candidate for this job will be experienced in the cyber security domain, be goal-oriented and strives to exceed expectations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities will include:
* Manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems and security domains.
* Maintain the integrity and security of IT systems.
* Maintain system documentation
* Interact with users
* Adhere to policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
* Develop and implements testing strategies and document results.
* Provide advice and training to end-users.
* Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
* Participate in special projects as required.
* Support shift work

* Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
* Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in systems administration and support.
* Demonstrated experience with LINUX , Unix, or Windows operating systems.
* Knowledge of related hardware and software.
* Ability to manage the functionality and efficiency of a virtual/physical desktop pool by proactively and reactively responding to centrally managed trouble and incident tickets via a Remedy trouble ticket system
* Ability to develop and maintains system/security documentation
* Demonstrated ability to interact with users in to support software and hardware transitions to include software installs hardware/software troubleshooting
* Ability to maintain knowledge of current information design to connect, configure, and/or enable information systems, devices, or components as assigned
* Ability and willingness to assist team members by providing input, either written or verbal, to program deliverables including, but not limited to trade studies, white-papers, vendor presentations, and hardware and software requirements to support internal customers and "other" services.
* Ability to provide support for maintenance and change requests of all "user facing" devices and systems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


* BS from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, OR Computer Systems Engineering or a related discipline. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education.

* Experience with cyber operations, development, integration, sustainment and fielding projects and programs for U.S. Government and/or commercial clients
* Experience in creating secure and compliant desktop images for deployment across an IT enterprise
* Experience in performing builds, configuration management and installation of multi-level workstations
* Experience in applying vendor/OEM patches and fixes using standard tools such as MS SCCM or equivalent
* Experience working in an agile development environment
* Knowledge and experience with ITSM tools
* Experience supporting cross-domain computing capabilities
* Experience with regulatory compliance, policy development, and policy enforcement
* Experience with process development and deployment
* Experience with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework and DoDI 8510.01 Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology (IT), or ICD 503.
* Experience working on Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Programs
* Experience with DHS Standard DHS 4300A, B, C or equivalent
* Experience with USG cypto standards
* Experience with prototyping innovative cyber security technologies

* Six Sigma Certified

* DOD 8570.1-M Compliance at IAT Level II
* MSCA, MSCP, or MCITP Certification
