The Raytheon Intelligence, Information, and Services (IIS) Hardware & Infrastructure (HW&I) Engineering team is looking for a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to lead the design, implementation, testing and delivery of computing infrastructures across multiple program areas. The Sr Principal Systems Engineer will support large proposal activities as the HW&I Lead. They will support pre-proposal reviews. They will perform system architecture development, bill of materials creation, technical proposal writing, and labor Basis of Estimate (BOE) creation. The Sr Principal Systems Engineer will support functional management with pre-award hiring decisions and will support post award contract execution in an SME or a team lead role. The ideal candidate for this role will be well versed in the design of IT infrastructure services, be able to direct teams to accomplish the installation, configuration, and integration of hardware and COTS software, including automated deployment methods. He/She will also be a self-starter, be able to troubleshoot complex problems, and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing to internal management and customer audiences. The candidate must be a US Citizen who has the ability to obtain a US Government DoD Secret clearance.
