Job Description

Raytheon is supporting a U.S. Government customer on a large mission critical development and sustainment program to design, build, deliver, and operate a network operations environment; including introducing new cyber capabilities to address emerging threats.<?xml:namespace prefix="o"?>

Raytheon Cybersecurity and Special Missions (CSM) is seeking Test Engineers to work in a dynamic and agile DevOps environment leading the development of test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts, executing test plans/scripts, and providing test results to the development teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities Include:

·Performing the analysis of system requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop test and evaluation plans and procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis, and report status and results.

·Collaborating within Agile Scrum teams as a key contributor responsible for manual and automated testing of advanced cybersecurity capabilities

·Leading and/or contributing to Test Readiness Reviews


·U.S. Citizenship

·Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (SSBI within the last five years)

·Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline or equivalent experience.

·Must have 6 years of professional experience or 4 years with a Master’s degree or 2 years with PhD in a related discipline.

·DoD 8570.1 IAT Level 2 certification or the ability to obtain certification within three months of employment.

·Strong experience performing verification and functional performance testing, preferably in an agile-focused DevOps environment using automated test methods and tools.

·Experience developing Test & Evaluation (T&E) Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports.

·Experience managing multiple teams and projects of variable sizes and providing technical direction for the functional performance and verification testing of all system components

Desired Skills

·DoD 8570.1 IAT Level III certification preferred

·Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP)

·Experience and/or familiarity with Agile development, DevOps, Continuous Development / Continuous Integration concepts, and tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Rational Team Concert, JIRA, Git, Chef, Ansible, and Puppet

·Experience with automated test capabilities such as Junit, JMeter, Cucumber, Selenium, etc.

·Experience with scriptinglanguages such as Perl, Python, PowerShell, VBScript, etc.

·Experience with Windows, UNIX, and Linux systems and virtual environments (VMware, AWS, OpenStack).

·Experience with DOORS or other requirements management tools

·Technical understanding of cybersecurity attack techniques and associated mitigation techniques

This position will either be a Sr. Test Engineer II (G09) or a Sr. Test Engineer I (G08) depending on the candidates qualifications.
