Job Description

Raytheon IIS is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Technical Project Lead (TPL). Candidate will be responsible for ensuring successful deployments of AOC Fielding events. They will be responsible for leading and coordinating installations at various AOC sites. Candidate will be the go to for Systems and Networks for AOC Fielding Teams. This work is in support of the Air Operations Center LTM&S (AOC). Location of work Hampton, VA.

The TPL will be responsible for managing installation team resources for AOC installation events. They will provide technical leadership, site specific design inputs, plan, coordinate and execute fielding events for various AOC sites. The TPL will provide management with high level quality decision information on assigned events. The TPL will ensure successful execution of multiple current and future fielding projects, to include coordination with multiple program offices and AOC locations, external entities, including government 3rd-Party product providers, industry SMEs, and functional area representatives. The TPL will be required to plan, organize and conduct regular meetings for each site.

Required Skills:

Existing Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance

8 years of applicable experience including experience with and/or knowledge of:

•Windows Server and Workstation operating systems
•Unix operating systems
•Host-client relationships
•Network design and configuration
•Excellent communication and organizational skills
•Experience and knowledge of AOC operations and VMware
•Working knowledge of C2/ISR capabilities, functions and use of listed systems/applications
•Security + - DoD 8570 certification
•Must be willing and able to travel
•Willing to work up to 12 hours a day
•Experience leading small cross-functional teams.

Desired Skills:

•Experience with Active Directory
•Experience with remote configuration management tools

Required Education: BS with major in Computer or Systems related subject and 8 years of relevant experience, Associates Degree in Computer or Systems related subject and 12 years of relevant experience OR 16 years of equivalent military and/or civilian experience in lieu of a degree.

Must have the ability to get a US Passport.
