Raytheon IIS/GIS provides Operations and Maintenance support for the Intelligence Community

The Sr Field Engineer I will support the enterprise Information Technology O&M program in Aurora, CO. Candidate will perform all work at an off-site customer location and will have daily contact with a variety of government agencies and other contract employees during the normal performance of his or her duties. Candidate is responsible for installing, programming, troubleshooting, and performing root cause analysis, and repair local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) hardware and software including routers, switches, multiplexers, hubs, bridges, gateways and peripherals. They also are responsible for installing and maintaining desktop equipment.

Required Skills & Experience:

•Related Bachelor's degree
•4+ years experience in Information Technology related field
•8+ years experience using bit error test equipment
•8+ years experience using Microsoft Office Suite
•Experience operating and keying cryptographic equipment
•Experience installing and maintaining Desktop computers
•Must have current Security+ and become 8570 compliant within 6 months of start date
Must have a current TS/SCI w/ CI Poly Security Clearance

Desired Skills:

•Training or experience with Bit Error Test Equipment
•Experience in a network control facility
•Training or experience installing and termination fiber optic infrastructure
•Training or experience troubleshooting or programming using HP Openview
•Training or experience troubleshooting or programming Promina Multiplexer
•Training or experience troubleshooting or programming CISCO Switches
•Training or experience troubleshooting or programming CISCO Routers
•Training or experience troubleshooting or programming Compunetex voice switches
•Training or experience in Project Management
•Current CCENT/CCNA certification

Required Education:

Related Bachelors with 4 Years of experience or 12 years of equivalent work experience 108191
