Job Description

Raytheon Blackbird Technologies, Inc. is seeking to hire an experienced Policy Analyst to join the IT Security leadership team in order to support one of our clients, a major nationwide organization. The Senior Information Security Policy Analyst leads efforts towards building a CISO organization within a major nation-wide agency.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Functions as a subject matter expert and advisor on organizational security focus primarily on risk analysis and security policy and process development.
  • Analysis of existing security parameters, policy and process development, employee development, and technical support to the organization
  • Participates in the identification, tracking and monitoring of information security threats and service operations within the agency
  • Acts as a Liaison for the Chief Information Officer
  • Leads policy development and regulatory compliance efforts
  • Promotes the efforts to support compliance with the Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002 (FISMA), including FIPS Publication 199, FIPS Pub 200, NIST SP 800-18, SP 800-37, SP 800-53, SP 800-53A and SP 800-60
  • Provides Security Architecture evaluation, development and leadership
  • Provides Leadership in the following areas:
  • Privacy management
  • Risk Management
  • Security operations
  • Emergency Response
  • Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations
  • IT investigations, digital forensics, eDiscovery
  • Quality and Compliance
  • Threat Intelligence
  • Security Training and Exercises

Required Skills:
  • The position requires U.S. Person status or a Non-U.S. Person be eligible to obtain Authorization.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a sensitive clearance – Position of Public Trust – and may be required to obtain a higher security clearance.
  • Must have understanding and experience working with large organization networks
  • Experience with regulatory compliance, policy development, and policy enforcement
  • Relevant experience working on disaster recovery preparedness, threat intelligence analysis, and continuity of operations efforts
  • 4-6 years of government program management experience
  • 4-6 years of Information Security engineering experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with cyber security development projects and programs for U.S. Government and/or commercial clients
  • Experience with process development and deployment
  • Experience with three or more of the following:
  • Security COTS integration
  • Security Incident Event Management
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Insider Threat Monitoring
  • Operating System Hardening
  • Vulnerability Assessment testing
  • Identification and Authentication schemes
  • Public Key Infrastructure and Identity Management
  • Cross Domain Solutions
  • Security engineering

Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field Equivalent experience in military, civil, or corporate continuity planning will be considered.

Desired Certifications:
DODI 8570.1-M Compliance at IAT Level II
