A senior security position responsible for the supervision and management of all IIS International Security based in Dulles, VA, reporting directly to the IIS Director of Security, and functionally to the Corporate International Security Manager/Director. This is a senior leadership role charged with leading the IIS International Security Team to ensure alignment with the enterprise core capabilities, vision, mission, and goals. Moreover, the International Security Manager will provide senior level liaison with various external and internal customers, ensuring consistent enterprise messaging and collaboration; ensuring continuous communication and collaboration with the other IIS Core Capability leaders to facilitate the effective implementation of the international security requirements. This individual is responsible for the implementation of, and compliance with, all Global Security Services policies, standards, processes, and systems relating to International Security. The IIS International Security Manager will maintain subject matter expertise in International Security. Additionally, the incumbent will serve on the IIS Security Leadership team collaborating with other leaders to establish a culture of empowerment, accountability, respect and transparency.
The IIS International Senior Security Manager will be responsible for the oversight and leadership of the following elements of the International Security Program:
•Approving international travel for IIS employees to high risk areas.
•Matrixed supervision of international assets.
•Develop standard guidelines/Enterprise policy for international opportunities.
•Analyzing and creating threat assessments.
•Participate in Capture and Proposals
•Maintain liaisons with U.S. Government sources.
•Provide threat/risk briefings to employees traveling to Group I & Group II countries.
•Coordinate with the Corporate Director of International Security regarding housing, security and life support of employees who are about to deploy and/or are deployed to high conflict areas such as war zone contingency areas.
•Responsible for creating functional statements of work (SOW) to engage security contractors who are capable of safeguarding employees, property, and facilities. This must be performed in coordination with the Director of International Security.
•Ensure that expatriates are following Global Security Services policies and procedures for safeguarding
proprietary, competition sensitive, and company most private information.
•Develop Emergency and Evacuation plans and ensure these plans are complete and up to date.
•Participate with the International Security Group (ISG) to assess active threats of terrorism, crime, social
unrest/protest/demonstrations, kidnappings, the reliability of host country infrastructure and security forces, as well as regional and country challenges.
•Review IIS international physical security plans for residential and company facilities.
•Coordinates insider threat and international traveler training for IIS expatriates and overseas travelers.
•Ensure frequent travelers and expatriates from IIS obtain the necessary training per Customer and / or Raytheon policies and procedures.
•Coordinate and provide executive protection for IIS Senior leadership team on international trips to high-risk destinations.
•Serves as the Enterprise International Security SME
• Develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity that require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation
This position is primarily located in Dulles, VA with at least 50% travel to support the needs of the business both domestically and internationally.
• 14 + years related Security experience
• Extensive experience with international travel
• Expertise using information systems to track and maintain contact with high volumes of travelers
. Experience planning security for international events
• Management experience
• Experience interacting positively with Senior leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Security, International Relations, Counterintelligence, Criminal Justice,
Business, or other related field.
•US Government or corporate counterintelligence experience
•Experience with information security procedures
.Effective leadership capabilities; uncompromising integrity and ethics; and a demonstrated ability to deliver global security excellence
•Ability to collect and analyze intelligence from multiple sources
•Ability to plan, schedule, and arrange activities in accomplishing objectives
•Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
•Willing to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
•Self-starter with minimal supervision
•Candidate must be eligible and able to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance.
