Job Description

A Software Developer is needed for the GPS OCX program to create and maintain GUIs for viewing and modifying configuration information to support GPS OCX Automated Deployment.The individual will be responsible for collaborating with the backend and database developers to create a working product.<?xml:namespace prefix="o"?>

Duties and responsibilities include:

1)Collaborating with stakeholders, the database team, and system engineering to design and maintain GUI wireframes.

2) Taking ownership of the GUI to ensure it functions as intended in demonstrations and for all of our stakeholders.

3)Extending existing read-only GUIs to include edit capabilities & workflows.

3) Improving existing read-only GUIs to improve performance and functionality.

4)Maintaining and extending GUI capabilities per user/stakeholder feedback.

5)Integrating with our Oracle relational database to create, modify and maintain complex queries used for viewing and submitting data additions, modifications, and deletions.

7) Testing that all aspects of the GUI meet expected functional needs.

Required Skills:

·Highly experienced with Prime Faces Development

·Expert at coding in Java with specific experience using: Spring, JSF, JQuery, and CSS

·6+ years web-Based GUI Development (Java)

·Eclipse IDE Experience

·Ability to work well with a team

·Windows and Linux experience

·US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance required

·BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar

Desired Skills:

·DevOps Experience

·Cloud Based Development Experience

·Python Experience

·Tomcat Experience

·Oracle Database Experience

·Jira & Agile Development Experience

·Familiar with Scrum terminology and methodologies
