This job opportunity is for the Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) Industrial Security Manager, the senior industrial security lead for the Business. The position will be based in Aurora, CO, Dulles, VA, or Richardson, TX. In this capacity, the IIS Industrial Security Manager has dual solid line reporting responsibility, operationally to the IIS Director of Security and functionally to the Corporate Industrial Security Manager. This position is responsible for leading the IIS Industrial Security Team to ensure alignment with the enterprise core capabilities, vision, mission, and goals. Responsibilities include; providing senior level liaison with various DSS offices and internal customers, ensuring consistent enterprise messaging and collaboration; ensuring continuous communication and collaboration with the other IIS Core Capability leaders to facilitate the effective implementation of the National Industrial Security Program. This individual is responsible for the implementation of, and compliance with, all Global Security Services policies, standards, processes, and systems relating to Industrial Security. The IIS Industrial Security Manager will maintain subject matter expertise in Industrial Security; effective leadership capabilities; uncompromising integrity and ethics; and a demonstrated ability to deliver global security excellence.
The IIS Industrial Security Manager will be responsible for the oversight and leadership of the following elements of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP):
  • Security requirements for collateral programs at 38 IIS facilities to include subsidiaries and joint ventures
  • Personnel security clearances
  • Facility clearances
  • Foreign Ownership, Control, and Influence
  • NISP Training & briefings
  • Classification & markings
  • Safeguarding classified information
  • Classified Visits & meetings
  • Classified Subcontracting
  • NISP international
  • NISPOM Conforming Change 2
  • Facility Security Officer and Embedded Security Professionals/Program Security Manager performance and key partner relationships.
  • Closed Area approvals and operations
  • Coordination with the other IIS core capability leads where programs intersect with the Industrial Security program

Required Skills:
  • Experience working in team-orientated and collaborative environment with the ability to engage and influence a variety of individuals internal to the company as well as external customers and industry contacts
  • Be able to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to compliance requirements
  • Effective leadership capabilities with experience leading a large and diverse organization
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in managing and implementing an industrial security program with extensive knowledge of the NISPOM and JPAS and associated government security databases
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in managing and implementing security program requirements
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience working with senior level management
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or a related subject area
  • Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance and/or SCI access
  • Industrial Security Professional (ISP) certification or ability to obtain ISP certification within six months of employment
  • Facility Security Officer certification for possessing facility
  • Experience conducting NISP self-inspections of varying complexity
Desired Skills:
  • COMSEC experience for a traditional account
  • Experience developing and implanting OPSEC plans
  • Knowledge of Closed Area construction
  • Knowledge of the Information System certification and accreditation process
  • Experience conducting investigations
  • Ability to build and manage, and motivate informal matrixed teams, leveraging differences in skills, knowledge, and experience to maximize results

Required Education (including Major):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or a related subject area
