The Software Engineer will be part of team that is currently designing a complex collection system and integrating multiple operating systems, including Solaris, Linux and Windows 2000.The team is also responsible for performing tradeoff studies and system performance analysis.Candidate will be expected to be able to perform all duties as described above.
Required Skills and Education:
·Minimum 6+ years technical experience in Software development, testing, installation, configuration with a focus on compliance or supporting programs to develop and field large-scale systems to include:experience in system development, software testing, requirements analysis, system documentation, system evaluation, and process execution and evaluation.
·Shall have a firm grasp of modern computer programming with a minimum of six (6) years experience in programming and development of application software for complex systems and software testing.
·Shall have at least six (6) years experience developing software for Windows (2000, 2003, XP, Vista), or UNIX/Linux (Redhat versions 3-5) operating systems
·Ability to work independently, and be a self starter
·Effective communication skills with project developers, program managers, systems engineers and software testers
·Function in a very agile, highly visible environment
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Communications Engineering, Mathematics or similar degree.
Qualified applicants subject to a U.S. government security background investigation and must meet minimum eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph Security Clearance is required.
