Job Description

As a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) this individual will monitor and manage security programs, provide status reports and recommendations for decisions, assist, collaborate, and coordinate with Sponsor Security Offices, develop solutions conveying them to internal and external Customers, provide subject matter expertise concerning identified Security disciplines, provide security guidance using IC directives, regulations and requirements, analyze data to make appropriate recommendations, manage project milestones, update and maintain appropriate records (e.g. database and hard copy) of security actions, conduct self-inspections and provide reports to Customer Security Offices, act as liaise with members of the DoD, the IC and other officials as required to keep abreast of current personnel, interpret security policy on matters pertaining to processing, dissemination and control of classified materials, act as Security liaison between Sponsor and other federal agencies and contractors, prepare both SCI and collateral materials for shipment to other agencies/sites IAW applicable security handling requirements and procedures, prepare outgoing classified messages on employees/contractors visiting other government or contractor facilities, prepare and deliver briefings to internal and external customers with the ability to use various forms of correspondence. In addition, this individual will be responsible for developing/creating, implementing and administering security plans, policies and procedures supporting mission operations. This individual will investigate and prepare impact statements, and provide recommendations on security infractions and violations, providing respective guidance as required. This individual will be responsible for risk management, conducting surveys and rendering impact statements or recommendations, as well as support FEOTB requirements to include developing RFP Security Volumes/Plans. This individual must be able to apply knowledge and experience in supporting security concepts, principles and best practices in order to analyze and successfully resolve security issues.
Required Skills:

Must be a US Citizen with an active and current TS/SCI with Poly

Bachelor’s Degree with 4-6+ years of applicable Security experience in a similar environment

Expertise in Program Security with additional basic understanding of Personnel Security, Physical/Technical Security, Information Assurance Security, COMSEC, Data Management, Subcontractor Management and Security Awareness Training and Education

Knowledgeable of SCI Security requirements; Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) and customer security directives

Experience supporting Program Security on SCI programs

Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Team player

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong presentation skills with the ability to brief executive audiences as well as all levels of workforce

Ability to quickly adapt to changing work environments

Organizational and time-management skills – Well organized with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks daily, and quickly and effectively reprioritize tasks when required, with robust attention to detail

Ability to make sound decisions and take independent actions

Desired Skills:

SAP Security experience
