Job Description

Raytheon is seeking an experienced Review and Release Analyst.

Please note, this is an Independent Contractor (IC) part time position located at a customer's site working in Information Management, responsible for public access requests, publications review, and special collections.

Applicants must have previous experience working in the Intel Community.

This is a Reviewer position and would be desirable to have experience with EO 13526 or EO 12958, as amended, and/or experience with FOIA. Reviewers and Case Managers shall have an understanding of the Sponsor or IC organization and functions and knowledge of intelligence collection and analyses as well as other activities.

Attention to detail is a must plus researching internal and external sites is critical.

Review and redact documents, review standards of special searches and historical collections providing rationale for redactions using redaction codes and providing recommendations for release of documents.

Record decisions in the Sponsor's automated systems.

Review non-official manuscripts to determine if proposed publications contain classified information.

Make review and release referrals to other gov't agencies.

Research previously declassification/release decisions.

Other similar tasks as assigned by the Sponsor.
