The Lead Apps Developer will work across multiple development teams to develop and enhance enterprise or departmental IT systems, from project inception to completion. The immediate focus for this position is to coordinate development among multiple teams of a high profile/high priority project with a tight deadline. This position requires in-depth hands-on experience developing software in a team environment, where customer focus, cooperation, communication and continual trade-craft improvements are the norm.
The successful candidate will be called upon to provide technical guidance in software engineering techniques, Devops best practices and automated support tools. They will work with the IT Solutions Functional Lead to ensure personnel are tasked to their abilities/skill levels and review work for correctness, adherence to the design concept, user standards and progress relative to schedules. They will work closely with the Lead Architect to help translate requirements/architectural diagrams into action items for the development teams.
