Raytheon IIS/GIS provides Operations and Maintenance support for the Intelligence CommunityJob Description:
This position will support an enterprise Information Technology O&M program filling a position in Chantilly, VA. The Sr. Tech Support Engineer will perform a wide range of duties to include IT Project Management, IT equipment procurement, Cost ROMs and I&M tasks of IT equipment. The project management tasks include the planning of installation move, add, change and delete (IMACD) actions of various WAN / LAN, Voice, Video and MIS components or systems. Collaborate with the customer throughout the project lifecycle to ensure full understanding of requirements and to keep the customer updated on project progress. Collect data from various groups in order to create / update project schedules using existing templates along with project work packages which are released to the sites Release Management teams for implementation.Required Skills:
•Must have a BA/BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information technology, or related field or possess equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
•Minimum 4 year’s experience planning and leading IT projects
•Experience using MS Office Professional, Internet Explorer, and Outlook
•Experience in IP and Network connectivity
•MS Project Experience
•Experience in network design
•Must have a current and active TS/SCI security clearanceCurrent TS/SCIRequired Education (including Major):
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information technology, related field or equivalent related work experience in lieu of a degree
