Leidos is currently seeking a Software Engineering Manager to support an upcoming DoD engagement. This position requires 7+ years experience managing and supervising employees on a DoD enterprise database projects using the Agile lifecycle methodology. In this role you will: - Provide technical support to the ARNG G-6 Information Management Architecture (IMA) that is based on the DoDAF model to support Risk Management Framework activities, ERP Transition, management of interfaces, cloud computing rightsizing, data and portfolio management, and functional fit for purpose application. - Possess the ability to provide the Army National Guard G6 with technical services in the areas of: Program Management, Project planning; Software lifecycle sustainment; Test, Development, Pre-production, Production, and COOP environments; Application migration and transition; Cloud Computing, Configuration Management (CM); Information Assurance Cybersecurity; Risk Management; Remediation and Mitigation; Asset Management; Enterprise Service Desk; Application Training; and Surge/Special Projects. - Possess the ability to support the core applications within ARNG G6 IMA, including: Finance and Pay applications (SIDPERS, AFCOS, and JUSTIS), currently hosted on HP Itanium servers running the HP-UX operating system that are being modernized to a virtualized LINUX operating system on the fielded RCAS virtualized platform. Currently these systems interface with STANFINS and is being upgraded to interface with the GFEBS Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and the DFAS ODS application. Migration of the ARNG Enterprise Data Warehouse and the MyUnitPay database environments from the existing Itanium HP-UX server to an Army-approved virtualized environment. Migrations requires RMF re-accreditation of the application in the new hosting environment, along with a detailed plan for cutting over the database during a scheduled outage period, plus a COOP, Backup and Disaster Recovery plan. Sustainment support for the Standard Installation/Division Personnel System (SIDPERS) and the Guard Personnel database (TAPDB-G) to be subsumed by the IPPS-A ERP. Electronic Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (eFLIP) that provides automated forms and checklists for property loss and facilitates investigations amp; tracking. GIS-NG that provides geospatial information and services to the 54 Army National Guard (ARNG) States/Territories, Readiness Center, and the NGB Joint Programs Office. ARNG Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) that offers Business Intelligence (BI) tools and consists of eight data marts and one data provisioning capability. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE - Experience implementing innovative approaches to fulfilling requirements with current technologies and providing clear, technical guidance and direction to staff which lead to resolving difficult-to-solve technical problems. - Experience prioritizing and managing work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment, developing new approaches to complex design problems.
