Leidos is currently seeking an IT Infrastructure Integration Manager. This position requires 7+ years experience managing and supervising employees supporting IT Infrastructure Integration and Refresh within DoD. To be successful in this role, you: - Must be able to design, procure, install, and test local network infrastructures in accordance with DoD/Army standards. - Have expertise to work within the Reserve Components Automation System (RCAS) program, provide Military Construction support to the US Army Reserve Command (USARC), the US Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (USACAPOC), and some Army National Guard states needing to implement IT network designs, upgrades, and replacements relating for network infrastructure. RCAS implements the IT infrastructure solution near the end of a new building s construction or renovation. The period of performance for each IT project is determined by the building s construction and planned personnel occupancy date. IT Network Designs include Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) topology technologies. - Must be skilled at making presentations at the following meetings: Engineer Program Reviews (EPRs), RedZones, Site Surveys, and status meetings. Must be experienced in managing these five military construction funding categories: Military Construction Army Reserve (MCAR), Base Realignment and Closure Act (BRAC), Full Facility Restoration (FFR), Grow the Army (GTA), and Real Property Exchange (RPX). Additionally, you must have expertise to perform the following: Conduct site surveys to develop and/or validate Engineering Installation Plans (EIP) Provide and procure Lists of Materials consisting of equipment from the DoD Unified Communications Approved Products List. Develop System Acceptance Test (SAT) Plans Develop Training Plans for the installed systems/equipment Install and program all systems/equipment on the approved EIP Conduct quality control and meet information assurance requirements Test installed systems/equipment Complete technical acceptance and close out, including documentation This position requires proven experience prioritizing and managing work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment, developing new approaches to complex design problems. Experience translating requirements into establishing and maintaining project plans and milestones compatible with earned value management (EVM) requirements, directing and implementing plans, with proven communication skills to present oral and/or written project status/plan briefings to the Government and corporate managers.
EDUCATION Must hold appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment. Education: B.S. Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Recent duties with Army IT infrastructure projects such as Army RCAS, P2E, I3MP, or HSMCC. Experience using software tools DoD uses in IT infrastructure design and construction. Required Certifications: Outside Plant (OSP) Designer: design and install OSP technology in aerial, underground and direct-buried infrastructures. Registered Telecommunications Project Manager (RTPM): manage information and communications technology projects Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD): design, integrate, and implement networks and related infrastructure components across multiple disciplines and applications. Digital Video Engineering Professional (DVEP): design, analysis, testing, integration, deployment and troubleshooting of digital media systems. Security Requirements: Must be able to pass the National Agency Check with written Inquiries (NACI), National Trust, and a favorable completion of a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprint check, or a DoD/DoE-determined equivalent investigation, or greater. Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance at contract start Desired Certifications: Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)v3 Foundation Project Management Professional (PMP ) Education: B.S. Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field. Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
