Leidos has an opening for a Risk/Schedule Analyst to support the Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives (ACWA) program. The successful candidate will support the BGCAPP Field Office Site Project Manager (SPM) in the implementation of the Systems Contractors (SC) Risk Management Program. This position is located in Richmond, KY.
The Risk/Schedule Analyst shall make observations and perform technical analysis associated with the SC performed risk program inclusive of risk identification, risk ranking (probability/ consequence) and risk mitigation inclusive of verifying procedural compliance and coordination amongst the organizations making up the SC joint venture team. The Risk/Schedule Analyst shall also provide technical input to the Government including preparation of risk summaries to be provided to the PEO ACWA.
The primary responsibilities of the Risk Manager are development and maintenance of policies, plans, and procedures to assist the SPM in managing BGCAPP FO work activities including Government oversight of the SC performance and quality. The Risk/Schedule Analyst shall review documents and observe activities pertaining to the SC’s Configuration Management Programs, and provide technical input to the Government. The Risk/Schedule Analyst shall provide meeting support (scheduling, minutes, uploading documents to the PEO ACWA Engineering Change Proposal Share Point Site) for the FO Configuration Control Board. The Risk/Schedule Analyst shall provide administrative and technical support to the BGCAPP FO in the coordination of the Management Internal Controls Program, including but not limited to activities in the 5-year internal control plan and schedule. The support contractor shall consolidate the Government completed functional reviews and prepare the annual report for the BGCAPP SPM. The Risk/Schedule Analyst shall review and analyze the monthly updates of the Management Dashboard Metrics indicators and provide a report with the analysis. The report shall cover observations on trends indicative of concerns that might pose a risk to the execution schedule, and shall provide recommendations regarding potential mitigation strategies. The Risk/Schedule Analyst shall facilitate a meeting with the BGCAPP SPM (and other participants) to discuss these trends and to cover action items undertaken to address areas of concern, as well as monitor their impact/efficacy.
Four year degree; five years’ experience in project management, scheduling, analysis, and EVMS reporting.
Five years’ experience performing DCMA 14-point schedule assessments.
Must be a US Citizen willing to obtain a Secret clearance.
Specialized Project Management Training and advanced degree preferred. Detailed knowledge of program management/scheduling tools and techniques is preferred (Microsoft® Project, Primavera Project Planner ®, wInsight®, ACEIT etc.).
