Leidos has an opening for an Information Technology Specialist to support the Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives (ACWA) program. The successful candidate will support the PCAPP Field Office (FO) Project Manager by providing IT and other office technology support to government and contract staff
The successful candidate will provide technical support for Government owned information and electronic systems at the PCAPP that interface with PCD-owned and operated servers. Computer support shall also be provided to interface with the PEO ACWA SharePoint site. Information systems include computers and computer local area networks, internet and extended network connections, electronic security related equipment, electronic mail, PCAPP FO databases, and associated peripherals. Electronic systems include telephone systems, video teleconferencing, facsimile, photocopy machines, and other electronic office equipment and peripherals. This equipment, hardware, and software shall be supplied by the Government.
General expectations and duties include:
• Providing technical support to the PCAPP FO users of IT services at the PCAPP FO. The support contractor shall assist users with problems related to computer and communications services, including operating systems, local area network (LAN) services and various applications packages. • Gather data and perform diagnostic techniques to help identify solutions to problems. • Monitor the resolution of users' problems; expedite problem resolution efforts and coordinate with vendors and other technicians to resolve problems with telecommunication services, computer hardware, software, and procedures. • Serve as a principal point of contact for resolving user questions or problems concerning IT automation systems, software and/or hardware problems, password violations, and telecommunications trouble and work orders including: o Determining the nature of the problem (e.g., routine, non-routine, user error, faulty data lines, equipment malfunctions, software malfunctions, etc.) and provide users with solutions to problems. The support contractor shall determine the nature of problem in order to assist technicians and specialists with resolutions o Collecting information from callers to be used in the troubleshooting and workstation and/or printer services. o Coordinating with the Army network, telecommunications specialists in monitoring the LAN and Wide Area Network (WAN) and the installation telecommunication video teleconferencing o Provide expertise to support and maintain the computer network and all electronic systems at the PCAPP FO to meet the PEO ACWA and DoD regulations and directives. o Support configuring and installing the necessary computers and networks at the PCAPP FO. • Provide technical support to maintain auxiliary computer equipment, such as printers, plotters, and other electronic equipment and software for internal staff use to meet the need of performing under this work statement. • Maintain current training IAW the requirements of AR 25-1 and AR 25-2. • Provide computer training and help desk support to the PCAPP FO team related to the use of FO specific databases, network access, cyber security, and information assurance. The training shall consist of primarily mentoring but both informal and formal instruction shall be provided as directed by the SPM. • Perform Information Assurance duties registered in the Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) (https://atc.army.mil) within thirty days (30) days after contract order award.
Certified systems analyst IAW DoD Directive 8570.01
Certified Comp TIA A+ or higher
5+ years’ experience supporting operational network to include procurement, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of computer, network, and telecommunications equipment
3+ years’ experience in a DoD IT environment
Ability to be approved for a government security clearance

Bachelors (4) year degree
Experience working as a tenant on a DoD host organization IT system
