Leidos has a career opportunity for a Senior Computer amp; Communications Planner / Instructor at Shaw AFB. Candidates must already possess a current Secret clearance. Description: The successful applicant will assist Joint Task Force (JTF) and Air Expeditionary Force (AEF) planners prepare for forward deployed combat operations and exercise events. Applicants must possess Joint Force experience while serving as a Communications and Cyberspace Information Systems Officer assigned to Component-Numbered Air Force Air Operations Center or Joint Task Force Headquarters. Applicants must possess extensive operational and technical experience regarding operational and tactical level communications architecture, network and system; information assurance; and the allocation of cyberspace forces and capabilities in response to JTF / AEF requirements. Applicants will accumulate and integrate lessons learned from deployment planning, unit certification and exercise / forward-area deployments into JTF / AEF operational plans, academic curriculum, training materials and classroom instruction. This position may require overseas travel into active military combat zones. Applicants should have extensive knowledge of the Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP) and previous experience working with Joint Force Active Duty, Reserve and National Guard components in one or more of the following organizations is required: Combatant Commands (CCMDs), Combined and Joint Task Forces (CJTFs), Major Commands, Operational Combat Units, US Interagency and non-governmental organizations.
Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in relevant Air Force or Army / USMC communications / computer / cyberspace specialties; minimum of 3 years’ experience in Joint Command. Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s of Science (Masters of Science preferred) and a current US SECRET security clearance.
