Leidos has a career opportunity for a Curriculum Senior Planner/Action Officer at Shaw AFB. Candidates must already possess a current Secret clearance. Description: The successful applicant will assist Joint Task Force (JTF) and Air Expeditionary Force (AEF) planners prepare for forward deployed combat operations and exercise events. Applicants must possess JELC / JOPP subject matter expertise in exercise planning, coordination and exercise training. Applicants will help design, staff, execute, report and assess JTF and AEF related peace time exercises and forward-area deployment planning and operations. Applicants will develop and synchronize Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) and White Cell activities and resources; train / prepare personnel for at least six (6) three-week classes per year; and oversee scenario development for JTF HQ certifications. Applicants will advise senior leaders on JELC / JOPP related activities and integrate lessons learned from deployment planning, unit certification and exercise / forward-area deployments into JTF / AEF operational plans, academic curriculum, training materials and classroom instruction. This position may require overseas travel into active military combat zones. Applicants should have previous experience working with Joint Force Active Duty, Reserve and National Guard components in one or more of the following organizations is required: Combatant Commands (CCMDs), Combined and Joint Task Forces (CJTFs), Major Commands, Operational Combat Units, US Interagency and non-governmental organizations.
Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in relevant Air Force or Army / USMC combat arms specialties; minimum of 5 years’ experience in exercise planning. Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (Masters of Science preferred) and a current US SECRET security clearance.
