Leidos is looking for an experienced Human Factors Engineer to join our team in order support an upcoming opportunity. The successful candidate will be able to apply human performance principles, methodologies, and technologies to the design of human-machine systems interface designs. These interfaces will be developed with design engineers to establish system design, operating, and training requirements and to ensure optimized human-machine interfaces. The successful candidate should be able to identify and analyze technological problems or risks, perform theoretical human factors investigations, and develop as well as implement research and analysis plans.
This position will require communication across a government, multi contractor team in order to develop a comprehensive set of requirements for the system.
Requires BS degree and 15+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 12+ years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
Must be able to be approved for a Secret clearance
