Leidos has an opening for a project manager to support the Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives (ACWA) program. The successful candidate will support the Program Manager in the coordination/execution of all activities related to the task scope. The incumbent will manage the technical, cost and schedule of assigned tasks or functions and has frequent interface with task leaders, subcontractors, support personnel and customers. Project managers have financial management responsibility. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: (list daily duties and/or specific job responsibilities)
The primary function of the Site Lead/Dashboard and Metric Analyst at PCAPP is managing the requirements of and the personnel assigned to the PCAPP Field Office. The Site Lead plans, coordinates, and manages the actions taken by Leidos team to execute the PWS requirements. Duties include: Integrate all functions and activities necessary to execute the task and to meet the client or customer requirements, plan and lead actions by the team to define and implement a technical baseline and meet quality requirements for products and services, direct team personnel, manage cost and schedule, ensure contract compliance, and serve primary as customer interface.
Management of cross-functional teams responsible for delivering high-quality project outputs on time and within budget. Ensures appropriate management, customer, and supplier involvement throughout the contract. Understands customer expectations and concerns, and take appreciate actions.
In addition, the Site Lead will provide technical support in at least one other technical area (Engineering, Quality Control, Chemistry, Science Support, Environmental)
4 year degree or 4 year experience in chemical demilitarization management
PMP certification; seven years’ experience may be accepted in lieu of PMP certification
5+ yrs contract/task management experience with similar tasks on government contract (value gt; $5,000,000)
Demonstrated success directing the planning, development and implementation of small projects in accordance with cost, schedule, and scope requirements
Ability to be approved for a government security clearance
