Job Description


The Defense amp; Intelligence Group of Leidos has an opening for an Exchange Administrator at Ft Bragg, NC.

Microsoft Exchange Administrator part of the Leidos team which provides IT repair, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of Army Military Intelligence Enterprise IT Systems. The successful Exchange Administrator will be part of a team of Enterprise Systems Administrators responsible for day-to-day operations and maintenance (O+M) of several Microsoft Exchange 2012/2016 servers.

•Provide Microsoft Exchange support to a DoD IT Enterprise program.
•Manage and provide technical leadership for the design, implementation, and integration of MS Exchange Server and applications.
•Plan and perform analytical research, design, development, and other assignments in conformance with customer specifications.
•Monitor and analyze Exchange databases and mail flow for efficiencies.
•Provide input and expertise with regard to design, implementation, maintenance/troubleshooting of MS Exchange.
•Assist in the O+M sustainment of a MS Exchange 2012/2106 server environment.
•Install and configure MS Exchange servers.
•Create, configure, and maintain Exchange databases, mailboxes, address lists, distribution groups, and message routing.
•Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides settings, patches, and conduct preventative maintenance.
•Monitor and analyze Exchange databases and mail flow for efficiencies.


•Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline with 6+ years of overall related systems administration experience. Additional training and/or years of related experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.
•Specific experience with various Microsoft technologies such as Exchange 2012/2106, MS SQL, AD, and/or DNS.
•Currently possess DoD 8570 certification at IAT II, Security+ce or higher.
•Currently possess MCSA Windows Server 2012/2016 or equivalent/higher relevant Microsoft certification.
•Availability to provide after-hours/on-call support, as needed, for a 24x7 operational environment.
•Currently possess an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.

•MCSE Productivity w/focus on messaging (Exam 70-341, 70-342, 70-345) certification.
•ITIL certification.
•Experience administering servers within a VMware vSphere/ESXi 4 or 5 environment.
•Experience with NetApp.
•Experience with ACAS.
