Job Description


Leidos Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to help support a program located in Aurora, Colorado.

The Software Engineer 2 will work on maintenance, integration and development of operationally deployed database drive web systems and special data processing systems. Participate in system design, debugging, develop code, update GUIs and integrate mods/enhancements into baseline. Interaction with users, customers, and other developers is expected. Candidate must be able to work effectively on a small team. This is a great opportunity for a flexible self-starter to work in a dynamic environment with real world technical content supporting a number of tools and systems. Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION amp; EXPERIENCE: Typically requires BS degree and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.

Background in at least one of the following areas:

Web application development



Web Server Software


Struts (1 or 2)






other Web Technologies

Experience with relational or Object Oriented Databases

Knowledge of UNIX or LINUX

Experience with Eclipse IDE and Git.

Must have a Security + certificate
