Job Description

The Health Products and Solutions Group is currently seeking a Capacity Manager to support a large healthcare contract in Baltimore.

Analyst position in the LM VDC Network Control Center (NCC) – Analyst with a focus on Monitoring and Trending IT System Capacities. Serve as a NCC Analyst working in the NCC and maintaining operations of CMS VDC Systems. This position has a central focus upon IT System Capacity (CPU, Memory, Storage, etc.) and uses performance trending reports to anticipate, in advance, customer's future needs. Must have the ability to perform Forecasting and what-if scenarios. This is an IT systems capacity management position within Enterprise level Data Centers.

Will perform work assigned by management and team lead with a customer focus approach and an ability to work as part of a cross functional team.

BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. IT System administration: Server Platforms, Data Storage Systems, Capacity Management, Enterprise Data Center Management, Mainframe
Ability to manage IT capacity levels with accurate reporting, trending, and forecasting.
Knowledge and expertise with Capacity Management tools and monitoring systems
Strong Communication Skills (written and verbal) and proven ability to provide proper customer service to customers/management under high stress conditions.

Candidate must have excellent customer service skills, a team player, adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and willing to go the extra mile in a fast pace environment to service the customer with a positive attitude.

Desired Skills: Extensive knowledge of CA Technologies CapMan capacity management tools.
