Leidos is seeking a Program Manager to manage an F-16 Avionics program.
The PM must possess knowledge of F-16 Avionics Intermediate Station (including all variants AIS, IAIS (improved AIS), VXI-IAIS, R-IAIS (Rackmount Improved Avionics Intermediate Shop) Automated Test Equipment ATE as well as Support Equipment Recommendation Data (SERD) hardware, and associated ancillary Support Equipment (SE)).
Program Management methods including organizing, directing, and coordinating the planning and implementation of all contract support activities; interfacing with government personnel; formulating and reviewing project feasibility studies, determining costs, ensuring conformance to work standards; interpreting policies, purposes, and goals of the organization for subordinates; managing logistics support analysis for military systems; managing system safety studies; and identifying, acquiring, and using company resources to achieve program technical objectives.
The Program Manager's day-to-day activities include the following: (1) Support proposal efforts, (2) Manage the overall Product Support Integrator contract (3) have a strong understanding of F-16 Automatic Test Equipment and associated TPS; (4) provide leadership to a team of engineers.(5) understand and mitigate program risks associated with the implementation of the AIS upgrades, changes, and obsolescence issues. (6) use marketing and business development skills to grow the contract and win new task orders in support of the operations business goals for revenue and profitability. Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing is a must.
EDUCATION amp; EXPERIENCE: B.S. in Engineering and 12+ years of experience.
- Experience in managing programs in excess of $50M
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and/or Systems engineering experience
