Leidos is currently seeking a Cyber Software amp; Tools Developer to support the DoD's JRSS (Joint Regional Security Stack) deployment activities, a multi-year, global effort to improve the DoD's security posture and provide enhanced security capabilities and analytics by centralizing and virtualizing network security into regional stacks rather than locally distributed appliances. In this role, you will support the active and passive Cyber Network Defense (CND) tools deployed in stacks and will assist with initial configuration, troubleshooting, and support one or more products within DISA's CND tool suite: ArcSight, TippingPoint, Sourcefire, Argus, Bro, Fidelis XPS and SSL, Niksun FPCAP, Lancope, Opswat, and Inquest. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years expertise in CND tactics, processes and procedures as well as expertise in the design, operation, and tuning of CND tools. Signature deployment and best practices knowledge is required for applicable tools such as TippingPoint. Candidate should be well versed in TCP/IP communications and in Unix server construction and maintenance. This position is in support of JRSS.
EDUCATION amp; EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree. Required Qualifications: Must hold Interim Secret Clearance prior to start Must gain full DOD Secret Clearance to remain on program and be eligible to obtain DOD Top Secret Clearance. Expertise in installing, maintaining, and supporting at least two of the following: ArcSight Sourcefire Fidelis XPS Lancope Inquest Opswat Bivio Argus and Bro Tipping Point Additionally, each of the below are required: Knowledge of TCP/IP communications Experience in leading large engineering projects. DoD 8570 IAT2 certification SECRET Security clearance (or ability to obtain one) Experience with additional CND tools Experience with AD
