Job Description

Leidos has a job opening for Mission-level Analysis Lead in Arlington, VA or Dayton, OH. Job requires expertise in one or more of the following areas: Capability trade analysis, use of various Air Force modeling and simulation tools, mission-level or engagement-level analysis, or system of systems. The position will be responsible for developing a world-class analysis strategy across Leidos to support concept development and assessment in the areas of autonomy, advanced ISR sensing, and electronic warfare.
Roles and Responsibilities: - Lead modeling and simulation team to complete complex system of systems trade analysis to include concept of operations and tactics exploration - Work closely with the solutions architect(s) and systems engineer(s) to define analysis scope and objectives - Incorporate high-fidelity modeling or test results of capabilities into higher-level analysis to provide traceability and impacts of new technology or concepts - Derive capability and performance requirements at the system and system of systems level - Perform root cause analysis as appropriate to ensure - Incorporate analysis results into proposals and communicate results to multiple stakeholders - Debugging and troubleshooting software code as needed
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below - Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 10 years of experience leading complex analysis or using engagement or mission-level modeling and simulation tools - Must be a US citizen and have a secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI - Familiarity with Air Force modeling and simulation tools (AFSIM, SUPPRESSOR, ESAMS, etc) - Must show a demonstrated ability to define and lead analysis team consisting of software developers and engineers - Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required with demonstrated experience presenting analysis results to all levels of stake holders - The applicant must be able to work in a collaborative, fast paced, team environment, conduct technical meetings with technical leadership teams, academia, customers, and brief technical approach and status to senior management - Dependability, initiative, and ability to solve diverse problems is a must
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration - Experience with military CONOPS, tactics, threat systems analysis - ISR and/or EW background - 3-5 Years working with AFSIM or SUPPRESSOR
