The Life Sciences Division of the Leidos Health Group is seeking a Biomedical Research Program Analyst who will provide diverse analytical and operational support to various federal biomedical research and development (R amp;D) programs. Efforts will support a range of activities associated with headquarters-level management of biomedical R amp;D programs, to include strategic program planning; conduct of portfolio analyses and program evaluations; conduct of market research; management of the review and award of research proposals; review and/or development of business processes and administrative policies associated with research operations; and development of briefings and other information products describing current and planned programs to respond to official requests or market the programs. This position is located in Frederick, MD. Limited travel (up to 5%) may be required.
Individuals must possess a Master’s degree in the life sciences or other discipline relevant to medical R amp;D, and will have at least 3 years of R amp;D-related work experience.
Individuals must be detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills, possess excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrate strong organizational abilities and interpersonal skills in coordinating group activities, and be capable of independent action an initiative. Individuals must be able to interact in a positive and competent manner with individuals at all levels of responsibility, and willing to address a wide range of scientific topics as well as rapidly changing and divergent scientific and management issues. Individuals must be highly proficient in standard Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Candidates must be US citizens with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
