Service Desk Specialist in support of the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC). The Service Desk Specialist will join
our team in supporting the G2 Army MI Enterprise contract which provides IT repair, maintenance, operations, logistics,
and engineering services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of Army Military Intelligence
Enterprise IT Systems comprised mostly of a Microsoft Enterprise software environment for the Charlottesville, Virginia
•Provide Tier I support for desktop computer systems, hardware, software and network connectivity.
•Respond to trouble calls, runs diagnostics, isolates problems, determines and implements solutions.
•Ensure Service Desk incoming support calls are dealt with in a timely and effective manner.
•Ensure incoming IT support calls are recorded accurately.
•Promote good practice in the use of IT hardware and software.
•Provide advice and demonstrate use of software and hardware to end-users.
•Prepare and maintain technical documentation as requested.
•Perform other tasks as needed when requested to do so by Management.
•High School diploma/GED with 6+ years of related experience, OR Associate's degree with 4+ years of experience, OR
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience.
•Experience in a Microsoft Windows based enterprise environment with call center or service desk experience.
•Working knowledge of computers, peripherals, Windows OS versions 8 and 10.
•Currently possess minimum DoD 8570 compliance IAT II – GSEC, Security + CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security.
•Currently possess a DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
•ITIL Foundation V3.
•Microsoft Technology Associate.
•Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate
•Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert.
•Enterprise Desktop Support Technician.
•Enterprise Desktop Administrator.
•Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician.
