Leidos is searching for a junior-level (2+ years of experience)Systems Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) SAPCO in Huntsville AL. An active Top Secret clearance is required to be considered for this role; candidate must be eligible to achieve a TS/SCI within a reasonable amount of time.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with excellent communication skills to collaborate closely with customer and program personnel.
This position is located at the MDA Von Braun complex at Redstone Arsenal.
This position will assist MDA Program Offices evaluate future technology integrations with respect to their critical program information (CPI) protection requirements. When warranted, the Systems Engineer will assist in establishing appropriate program protections beyond the collateral security structure.
Additionally, this position will assist in responding to Congressional inquiries and senior OSD and Service briefings and support Director-level briefing coordination that involve Special Programs.
This role requires close attention to detail and strong organizational habits as the candidate will work in a fast-paced, team environment where program and process changes are the norm!
The ideal candidate will be a strong team player who brings solid relationship building skills, interacts easily with our government clients/contract staff members and possesses outstanding communications skills.
Active Top Secret clearance; able to achieve a TS/SCI within a reasonable amount of time
BS in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or a related field
2+ years professional experience in Systems Engineering, Missile Defense and/or Intelligence Community
DoD Acquisition experience
Experience working service or agency special programs.
