Leidos seeks a Senior Programmer/Analyst, specializing in Java, to support development functions for our team’s work on the U.S. Army’s Financial Disclosure Management (FDM) software application in APG, MD. The programmer/analyst will work as part of the software development team to develop, deliver and support the FDM application. Additionally, each team member is expected to learn and grow in their positions to take on more challenging and complicated development work. Specific responsibilities include:
- Build software and design/document/develop data interfaces, perform unit test and evaluation activities, define software system requirements, develop technical solutions.
- Perform configuration management, integration and software testing.
- Assist testing team when required
Assist DBA per requirements of project External Referral EligibleQualifications: Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or other Technical discipline with at least 4-6 years of full-time professional experience required in an application support team. Must possess a DoD Secret Clearance Basic understanding of software development principles Good analytical and problem solving abilities Understanding of Java, Spark Java and Pebble Ability and familiarity with Maven as the build tool and the GIT for code versioning Willing to attain Security+ Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL or Postgres SQL a plus
