Job Description

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a continuing requirement for Secure Enterprise Network Systems, Services, amp; Support (SENS3) for the continued operations and maintenance and evolution of the Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) and the Classified Local Area Network (C-LAN). This requirement was previously called Enterprise Networked Services Support (ENSS). The candidate will perform as the Sr. Information Assurance Engineer on the SENS3 program. The candidate must provide Information Assurance (IA) services and support and shall do so in accordance with the Government-approved PWS, Government-approved SLAs, and security policies. The candidate must maintain the positive security posture of the SENS3 network environments based on proactive IA and enterprise auditing services. IA is bolstered by comprehensive SSPs, Continuous Monitoring Plans, and Monthly Information System Security Manager (ISSM) Reports. Provide Registration Authority support to PKI implementation in a classified environment. Responsibilities include: Certificate registration. Prepare all required documentation necessary to successfully obtain ATC / ATO for new classified sites and systems. Attend Configuration Control Board (CCB), Site Readiness Review meetings, scheduling and other ad-hoc meetings. Coordinate with DHS and DHS Organizational Components (OC) to gather security information and status for various systems. Develop and provide training to other RAOs and Trusted Agents (TAs). Develop and maintain RA and TA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Maintain required archives. Perform work in accordance with requirements of a Registration Practice Statement. Clearance Requirement: Top Secret (Must be able to obtain TS/SCI)

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience providing PKI management support including Token Lifecycle Management.
  • Experience with hard and soft x.509 certificates, users, and nonperson entities (NPE).
  • Understanding of all security requirements
  • Background in identity and access management.
  • Working knowledge of Trusted Administrator, Registered Authority Operator, and Certificate Service Provider roles.

EDUCATION amp; EXPERIENCE: 7-11 years of prior relevant experience or 4-6 years with a Bachelors or a Masters with 3-5years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain
