POSITION/PROGRAM SUMMARY:The Medical Appointment Scheduling System (MASS) Program is responsible for the implementation of a Resource-Based scheduling application to Veteran Affairs (VA) Medical Centers. TeamSMS is implementing a Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) solution to the Cloud and integrating to VistA. TeamSMS is following the VA’s Agile Process VIP.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:The Veteran’s Health group is currently seeking a intern to support the MASS Program. - Support development/update of Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)- Input/update VA’s Rational - Track and Update Test Cases- Provide weekly status
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:- Currently pursuing a B.S. degree in a related discipline from an accredited college/university with a 3.0 GPA average.- Knowledge/Experience in the Information Technology Health Care- Experience developing / completing Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)- Knowledge of different types of testing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Experience with Rational Suite of tools- Familiar with Federal Government IT Compliance regulations- Experience with 508 Compliance Testing- Experience with IT Security
