Job SummaryAs an Embedded Developer III you will be a member of a small team comprised of the most talented engineers in the industry. This multiyear contract is in support of Telephony Technologies. Project activities span the entire engineering and software lifecycle from initial characterization and research to support for matured and delivered projects. Selected applicants will apply their "low-level programming" and deep analytical skills on new and challenging technologies.
Primary ResponsibilitiesThe successful Embedded Developer candidate will work within a small team to develop embedded software solutions using lower level programming languages. Developers will need to utilize their in-depth experience with designing, developing, debugging, modifying and testing embedded software to accomplish tasks. The candidate shall also lead the implementation of designs and the translation of customer needs into design requirements. These actions will be done in development support of production products, or in feasibility studies to research new products.
Twenty (20) years of embedded engineering experience; OR a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or similar technical major and fifteen (15) years embedded engineering experience; or a Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or similar technical major and twelve (12) years embedded engineering experience
Twelve (12) yrs combined experience in C, C++, Assembly (Intel, Motorola, and/or PowerPC), Python, C Shell, Bash, and SQL.
