The Defense amp; Intelligence Group of Leidos is seeking a Senior Program Manager for the Integrated Mission Solution Operation to join our team in Fayetteville, NC.
JOB SUMMARYThe Senior PM will serve as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for a complex development program in support of the DoD.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBLIITIES• Responsible for supporting the delivery of a solution that will enable the US Government to rapidly employ artificial intelligence, neural, and deep neural networks. • Oversee a program that covers a full spectrum of C4ISR support, development, procurement, and integration. This includes a wide range of technologies including neural machine translation, agile software development, expertise in deployable processing, exploitation and dissemination, and deployable integrated mission command. • Requires an in-depth knowledge of mission specific-operational requirements for several organizations and disciplines leveraged in multiple geographical locations, both Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). • Directs the efforts of cross-competency teams, to include personnel at geographically dispersed locations, and serves as the primary interface and POC with Government representatives and stakeholders on technical and project issues. • Responsible for regularly communicating with internal Leidos management and Government leadership on program status, progress, and milestones. • Oversees contractor personnel performance, including performance of subcontractor personnel, on project operations by developing procedures, and planning and directing execution of the contractual, technical, multi-disciplinary engineering, maintenance, and administrative support effort. • Manages the employment of project resources and is responsible for all financial and administrative aspects of the project, including requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, and schedule and financial data monitoring and reporting.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or other related technical field or Bachelor’s degree in a business or management-related field accompanied by experience managing complex engineering programs.• At least six years of experience managing complex engineering projects including support to a USG Program Office, DoD, and/or the Intelligence Community (IC)• Current certification in one of the following: * Active Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP)* Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Program Management certification * Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC P/PM) Level 3. • Strong communication skills• Current TS/SCI clearancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or other related technical field. • Ten (10) years of experience in a military environment performing in a related subject area (engineering, computer science, etc.). • Twenty (20) years of experience working as a contractor Project Manager supporting Government requirements. • Six years of experience leading a team utilizing Agile Software Development methodologies to successfully integrate Mission Command and Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination web services that have been certified and accredited following an RMF• Previous experience supporting special operations • Certified Scrum Master.
