Job Summary: The ILC Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a logistics analyst to work supporting field installations associated with in our San Diego, CA office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the ILC mission. In this mission we conduct maintenance, modernization, and installation of ASW sonar systems in support of our customer. This is NOT a large scale position.
Primary Responsibilities: 1.Follow established guidelines and processes while performing day to day routine tasks of shipping, receiving, general warehousing for the ILC. 2.Responsible for entering material receipts in a timely manner. 3.Receiving duties involve verifying the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities received against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, or other records; checking for damaged goods, insuring that material is identified and routed to the proper department or storage location. 4.Shipping duties involve verifying that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of material gathered for shipment against documents; insuring that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles; and preparing and keeping records of material shipped, manifests and bills of lading. 5.General warehouse duties involve the movement and stowage of material, ensuring accurate inventory and general cleanliness and safety. 6.Prepare HAZMAT Manifest, LARs, WAFs, Tag-out, Lockout, and become familiar with TUMS. 7.Provide administrative support field installation team during various project phases. 8.Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders. 9.The logistician team member will have a general understanding of shipboard nomenclature, compartment, and frame numbering schemes, and related areas as applicable to U.S. Navy warships. 10.Observe and adhere to all safety regulations and procedures applicable to installation work.

Basic Qualifications: Team Player Good Communication Skills Willingness to Learn Knowledge of Microsoft Office 1 year of related experience and High School education or GED. Valid Driver’s License Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
