Job Summary

The Defense amp; Intelligence Group at Leidos has an opening for an Electrical Engineer to work in our Huntsville Alabama facility supporting out GETS Program.

Primary Responsibilities

Will work as an electrical test engineer supporting the military equipment in missile weapons systems such as PATRIOT and HAWK. Perform as part of an engineering team that plans and (using applied knowledge) directs the cradle to grave functions associated with the complex engineering studies, analyses, and evaluation in the areas of tested equipment pertaining to missile defense weapons systems. Responsible for the design, review, analyses, communication, technical documentation, and integration of test programs (both hardware and software) using the General Purpose Electronic Test Station ATE (GETS-1000 Automatic Test Equipment) supporting and maintaining the weapons systems. Provide technical and subject matter expertise (SME) pertaining to the test requirements. Duties include utilizing test knowledge to perform liaison functions with the unit under test to ensure the interface design under test will integrate with the GETS-1000 ATE.

Basic Qualification

Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
6 years of directly related experience may count to offset the education requirements.
Experience with C language software development.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with analyzing and trouble-shooting electronic circuits.
Experience developing Test Program Sets utilizing LabWindows.
Experience with design and development of C language software.
Experience with design and test of analog, RF and digital systems.
Experience utilizing Automatic Test Equipment.
Currently have active Secret security clearance.
