Leidos is seeking experienced intelligence professionals to support the Office of Naval Intelligence in Suitland. MD. These critical individuals will provide expert support on foreign submarine, surface and air anti-submarine warfare (ASW) operations and tactics. Applicants must possess an active TS/SCI clearance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct data screening, database track analysis, ACINT analysis and reconstruction of all-source datasets.
Utilize information collected by various sensitive sources to track foreign naval vessel conduction operations within international waters.
Provide comprehensive intelligence reports on insights to foreign navy tactics and operations.
Use and maintain existing databases at the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI).
Utilize analysis tools and meet ONI production standards.
BS and 8+ years of related experience (4 years of additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
Active TS/SCI clearance
Experience as a Submarine Officer (designator 1120) or civilian equivalency; OR experience as a Surface Warfare Officer 3 qualified as a Surface Warfare ASW Evaluator (ASWE) qualified on towed array carrying ships or civilian equivalency; OR Submarine Sonar Technician E-7 and above; OR Submarine Fire Control Technician E-7 and above or civilian equivalency
Extensive knowledge in Submarine operations to include:o Demonstrated knowledge of acoustic analysis and acoustic signal processing theoryo A minimum of three (3) years’ experience applying Target Motion Analysis to sonar signals to determine a contact solutiono Demonstrated knowledge of the physics of sound and principled behind propagation of both active and passive acoustic signals in watero In-depth knowledge of the basic principles of marine propulsion and auxiliary systems
