Job Description


A remote OCONUS field site in North Yorkshire, England is seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator. You will be responsible for assisting the IT Operations group in assuring the highest reliability and performance possible in a customer O amp;M environment. This will include designing, scripting, and the implementation of monitoring hardware, OS and applications. Maintain multiple physical and virtual Linux Systems. Maintain vCenter and VMware clusters. Ensure systems availability through monitoring, routine maintenance, and proper design. Emphasis on the ability to develop new solutions to constantly changing customer requirements. This OCONUS Program supports a 24x7 mission critical customer environment. The OCONUS Program employees may be scheduled to work or be called in to work during off hours to meet customer mission support requirements.

Basic requirements to include:

* 3+ years of Linux System Administration experience

* Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with CI Polygraph

* Active Security+ Certification

Desired skills to include:

• Strong Redhat/CentOS 6/7 experience

• Experience with VMware ESXi servers and tools (vSphere, VMware Orchestrator, Open Stack)

• Scripting experience (Perl, Ruby, Python, PHP)

• Experience with centralized authentication services (CentrifyDC, Active Directory, LDAP)

• Experience with Linux web services (Apache Tomcat)

• Experience with Puppet, Foreman, or other configuration management tools

* Experience with HP Enterprise Management Software (OM,NNM,SiteScope)

* Experience with HP Storage Systems

* Experience with the management of DNS/DHCP

* Basic network experience
