The DoD Information Systems Division of Leidos has an opportunity for a Project Integration/Deployment Lead, contingent upon contract award, in San Antonio, TX<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
The Project Integration and Deployment Lead will provide project engineering, system engineering and system integration expertise to a large cross-functional team for the Air Force Integrated Personnel and Pay System (AFIPPS) contract.
The candidate will provide project management, engineering, design, and analysis capabilities to support multiple aspects of this project and take an active role in steering and execution of a project, thereby contributing to its success (ensure all efforts run on time, within scope and budget). Drives project from concept to delivery through related decision gates, using a combination of engineering, team leadership, analytic and process discipline skills. Works with multiple internal and external stakeholders to evaluate alternatives and balance project goals with overarching business financial and capital efficiency objectives.
A successful candidate will be innovative, self-motivated, a quick study and willing to work in a fast-pace and dynamic environment. The candidate will utilize system development tools/techniques along with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology to deliver the AFIPPS product to the customer. The Lead will be responsible for planning multiple efforts, ability to collaborate and coordinate schedules with external agencies (e.g., Defense Information System Agency (DISA), Defense Financial Accounting Service (DFAS), etc.), manage cross-functional teams ranging from functional subject manager experts, technical engineers, customer and senior leadership. The role requires hands-on experience with Project Management, System Engineering, and Planning Tools. An Ideal candidate has hands on System Integration experience and knowledge base with operating and integration in a DoD/DISA environment, Oracle HW and OS COTS products, and Oracle E-Business Suite R12 HR and Payroll applications.
Education and Experience:
Typically requires a BA degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.
