The Defense amp; Intelligence Group has a current opening for a SharePoint Site Technologist at our Customer site in Springfield, VA

Successful candidate will maintain customer’s SharePoint 2010/2013 websites with relevant, accurate and timely information. Translate ideas and concepts into professional, effective web-based products. Ensure the design and layout of reports, documents and publications are easily updated, maintained and retrievable from the SharePoint portal. Combine institutional knowledge and experience to facilitate an effective and efficient service. Ensure website is professionally formatted and maintained in accordance with Customer's standards. Utilize graphic design skills to improve design aspects of the website utilizing best practices and design principles that generate aesthetic graphics with innovative style. Recommend and implement improvements to written submissions, format, navigation, design, etc. to produce a user-friendly, well organized and modernized website appearance. Responsible for maintaining information content - identify, coordinate, transfer data when needed to other SharePoint networks and delete or archive, outdated or obsolete information; maintain consistency across all web pages and networks. Coordinate with offices to obtain and post new portal information, updates or edits while maintaining site collection records. Assist with the implementation of a web maintenance plan for SharePoint 2010/2013 site collections. Monitoring and completing daily web service request.



Education: Bachelor's degree and 3-5years of experience of relevant experience. Additional/other years of experience in lieu of degree will also be considered.

Required Skills: Knowledge of SharePoint 2010 amp; 2013 to include, InfoPath Forms, SharePoint Designer processes, site actions, page site layouts and design, web part creation and page creation. SharePoint administration to include, site permissions and approval/standard workflows.
