Job Description

The Leidos NISC III program has an opening for a Business Analyst to support a short-term 6 month temporary effort with the Federal Aviation Administration. The Business Analyst position will support Flight Standards with the analysis of business and system requirements and assist the specific business unit to define requirements and business cases for testing standards. Significant coordination with business and technology teams will be required: Duties include:
  • Create charts, graphs, reports, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, etc. based on analysis of statistical information
  • Updating SharePoint/KSN sites
  • Provide inputs for strategic planning, timelines, milestones, Dashboard reporting, REDI reporting
  • Create project updates and outlines via Word, Office Timeline, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, etc.
  • Create Process documentation for testing parameters
  • Support the conversion of Practical Test Standards (PTS) to ACS and all associated documents
  • Create question files for AEB utilizing existing repositories (Server and Sharepoint)
  • Documentation f question boarding activity
  • Support the Post-coordination with the ItemBank Manager of boarded question files
  • Provide support with the quarterly ACS Work Group (WG) face-to-face meetings
  • Provide tracking of new and archived testing questions to be included in “What’s New?” section
  • Tracking:
  • Project status, significant activities, changes affecting the aviation public
  • Coordinate communications with Industry
  • Assist with Website Updates, FAQs, “What’s New?”

Applicants should have a BA degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
