The Inventory Specialist will be a member of the NMIC Information Technology Enterprise Services (NITES) team and will serve as the Inventory Specialist for the Maritime Intelligence Environment (MIE) Systems Support Task.
An active TS/SCI is required; 50% travel (both CONUS and OCONUS) is required.
This position is based in Suitland. MD.
Managing highly sensitive and complex inventory of goods across multiple disciplines.
Establish an efficient supply chain that meets customer and vendor requirements through multiple locations
Develop, maintain, and oversee the execution of maintenance and repair schedules of all equipment as required
Develop logistic plans to achieve specific timeline requirements
Create and execute policies and inspection guidelines as necessary
Be able to handle potentially complex logistical issues, to include creating solutions through research, planning, implementation, execution, and assessment cycle.

15+ years of experience in logistical tracking/management of equipment OR BS/BA and 12+ years in logistical tracking/management of equipment OR MS.MA and 8+ years of relevant experience.
Security+ (or higher level of certification) in conjunction with the DOD Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program requirements, DOD 8570.01-M or ability to achieve within six months of hire.
Effective oral and written communications skills
Must possess knowledge of MS products and capable of maintaining complete and accurate inventory.
Able to resolve discrepancies in existing inventory.
